Harvest Close

Hello Folks,

We've been busy this past week preparing for the long winter ahead. All our harvesting is done, and we've moved on to preserving. I got a goodly amount of parsley and mint this year. Cherry Tomatoes were extremely prolific. This year I tried brussel-sprouts and ginger and was happily surprised at how well they did.

We've been discussing Hydroponics and Silvopasture as of late. I personally find it all very interesting. We've procured a small hydroponic growing station and have it set up. I'm very curious to see how it will do. I'll be sure to update you on that.

This is our last week in my first agriculture class. I have learned so much and have been shown some incredibly valuable resources.

The animals are all doing great. Today will be another round of nail care. We are on schedule to breed our bunnies in a couple of weeks. I'm excited!
